Gold Branch - Chattahoochee National Recreation Area

Very quiet, mostly a mild hike with one moderate area of ascension. It's right along the Chattahoochee so it's also very picturesque with lots of interesting scenery along the hiking path. Everyone was very friendly, being that this was my first hike with the group.

The scenery is beautiful in the fall, and the trails were well maintained. A few little inch-wide stumps here and there that were hard to see, but nothing else I could complain about. Conveniently located for N. Atlanta but be sure directions are clear. Several roads change their names in the area.
