Etowah Tunnel: Entering the tunnel it is clear you are going way to fast. Light fades to black. I can't see $%#T. The roar of an approaching rapid. My canoe drops & slams into the right wall. Then dark calmness until daylight returns. What a rush!

"ATLANTA - An Atlanta man says he was recovering Friday from an arm wound after a beaver attacked him near Lake Lanier.
Russ McTindal said he was fishing with friends just below the Buford Dam Thursday when a 30-pound beaver started biting him without provocation.
McTindal said he got a deep puncture wound on his lower right arm and is now receiving the rabies vaccine."
