"This is a great beginner trip! We will run two river sections. Johnson Ferry to Powers Ferry is moving water with no rapids. Turn out will depend on the weather, but if is is over 60 there will be LOTS of instructors, trip coordinators, and very experienced paddlers on the trip."
"Your best spot to rent a kayak is probably the Big Dam Store. The last time I checked they were pretty cheap. Also, "The Dry Side Up" is going out of buisness 4/30. Also try "The Outside World" in Dawsonville. Lots of free trips posted at www.gapaddle.com"

"For used canoes & kayaks try these places. forum.gon.com (sometimes REALLY cheap), www.boatertalk.com, Craigslist, also "Dry Side Up" is going out of buisness on 4/30. Drop by gapaddle.com for more trips."
"I don't have any financial interest in this, but it might help anyone who wants to get their paddle on this season. "Dry Side Up", a paddling gear store in Woodstock is going out of business and has some sales going on...."
"CB, You have to actually read the instructions. This is for the safety of the group. one person that shows up unprepared can put the themselves and the rest of the group at risk. I emailed you simpler instructions, try using those."
"The RSPV list looks like a rocket launch count down. 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6..... My gear is loaded, the boat is on the car, and I'm ready! BTW, That RSVP list does not include the GCA members that signed up."
"55 degrees and sunny tomorrow! It is time to go paddling! :-) No cotton, the water will still be cold."
