    Edible wild plantlife

    Now this would be one event I would really enjoy! I have all the "books" depicting what plants are edible and how best to cook them (if necessary). But, in the open, they're hard to discern.     Fall Car camping at Hiawasee River in Tennessee

    Very nice campground not close together sites, right on the river! with running water and hot showers !! rock climbing nearby!! old train ride nearby up the river!! a very nice winery across the street and Amish farm ... Read morealso!! plenty of walking trails fishing for trout!! or just explore the John Muir Trail You can bring your own tube ort life jacket and tub down river to your campsite and get out!! Just google Gee Creek Campgound on Hiawassee River and check it out!! this campground will accomodate anything from tents to motoehomes just no hook ups but do have running water!

    family friendly paddle @ Hard Labor Creek State Park Lake

    Equipment Fair

    I am new to many of these outdoor sports - there are many I plan to try out this coming season - Hiking, Biking, Caving, Climbing, etc...

    Would love to buy some used equipment to get started - backpacks, trekking poles, helmets, ... Read moreaccessories, etc... And I bet several of you veterans would love some cash to go towards your new, updated stuff. I think this could really benefit all of us!!
