Amicalola Falls State Park is hosting this event. It is free and several members have asked about a wilderness survival class.

This is a weekend class. Saturday and Sunday, August 28th and 29th, 10:00-5:00 both days.

The weekend will be sprinkled with basic skill classes suitable for the whole family. No registration required.

$5.00 parking fee.

I will update the scheduled classes as we get closer to the event so you can plan your day.

    For a "Wilderness Survival" weekend, the "Survival" way of camping will be to not use a tent or sleeping bag! Sleeping in just a large garbage bag will keep a person warm! If you really want to sleep soundly, use 2 garbage bags.
